MARRY ME Director Kat Coiro to Helm Sony Adaptation of Liane Moriarty's THE HUSBAND'S SECRET
After just having released the rom-com Marry Me this past weekend, director Kat Coiro has now signed on to helm Sony’s adaptation of The Husband’s Secret, based on the novel by Liane Moriarty. The author’s other titles that have been adapted include the series Big Little Lies, and Nine Perfect Strangers, both of which were fantastic. Three other books of Moriarty’s are also in the works, including Apples Never Fall, What Alice Forgot, and Truly Madly Guilty.
The Husband’s Secret is currently in production, and the film has not released a synopsis, but the novel “follows three women whose lives unexpectedly interconnect after one of them discovers a devastating secret.” Sources say it is unknown whether the film version will differ from the novel.
Either way, I’m excited for this. I am a huge fan of Moriarty’s novels and the series that have been adapted so far. Will you be tuning in to watch The Husband’s Secret?
