Martin Kove's John Kreese Confirmed as a Series Regular in COBRA KAI Season 2
Martin Kove, the actor who played John Kreese in The Karate Kid film franchise has been confirmed as a series regular in Cobra Kai Season 2. For anyone who watched Season 1, it shouldn't come as a surprise to you that he will be in Season 2, but this news confirms that his role in the story is going to be a decent sized role.
It was a pretty big and awesome surprise to see Kreese show up in the Season 1 finale. It's going to be interesting to see how the character's story arc will play out in the course of Season 2 and how his involvement will affect all of the characters. There's no doubt that he's going to majorly shake some things up with Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) as he is trying so hard to make something of his life and do some good.
Before Cobra Kai, the last time we saw Lawrence and Kreese together was at the beginning of The Karate Kid II. Kreese was pissed off at Johnny for losing the Tournament and the argument exploded into a moment where Kreese started choking out Johnny. Mr. Miagi then came in to save him.
If you haven't watch Cobra Kai yet, you need to watch it now! If you have seen the series, how do you think Kreese is going to play into the story in Season 2?
