Martin Lawrence and Snoop Dogg Teaming Up For a Political Drama Titled GAME

Martin Lawrence and Snoop Dogg are teaming up to star in a political drama set in Washington, D.C. titled Game. Lawrence also reunites with Bad Boys producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who is producing the series.

Lawrence and Dogg co-wrote the project and it’s based on a story by Patrick Aison (Treadstone, Jack Ryan, Wayward Pines). The story for Game revolves around “lifelong best friends Bobby and Dice, played by Lawrence and Snoop Dogg, who are running a high stakes game of personal favors and political intrigue in Washington D.C.”

When I think of Martin Lawrence and Snoop Dog, I don’t really see them in a “political drama”, but this project has sparked my interest. I’m curious to see what exactly they have planned for it. It’s a different kind of project for them and while it’s labeled as a drama, I’m sure there will be some entertaining humor involved. The two actors recently appeared together in the stoner comedy The Beach Bum.
