Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger's HBO Series VINYL Gets Its First Trailer
We've been waiting for what seems like years to see what the collaboration between director Martin Scorsese and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger would look like, and now we have hard proof that their HBO series is actually happening. The first trailer for their new show Vinyl, which is produced by Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos), has just arrived, and it's a coke-fueled look at the rock scene of New York in the 1970s.
Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, and Ray Romano (of all people) star, and the show will debut on HBO sometime in 2016. Check out the trailer below:
From Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, this new drama series is set in 1970s New York. A ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop, the show is seen through the eyes of a record label president, Richie Finestra, played by Bobby Cannavale, who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.
