Marvel Has Changed the Marvel Intro to BLACK PANTHER on Disney+ to Honor Chadwick Boseman for His Birthday
Yesterday would have been the 44th birthday of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. The actor sadly passed away earlier this year after battling colon cancer, but will forever be remembered as T’Challa, the King of Wakanda. In honor of the actor’s birthday, Disney+ has changed the Marvel intro for Black Panther on the streaming service into a tribute montage to Boseman.
On Saturday, Disney CEO Bob Iger tweeted an announcement of the planned intro:
Marvel released the intro so that fans who don’t have Disney+ can check it out. It’s pretty awesome, and I love to see the photos and shots of the talented actor. We will absolutely miss Boseman in the MCU, but will never forget the legacy he left. Check out the intro video below, and go watch Black Panther on Disney+ if you want to see it on your TV.
