Marvel and Netflix Renew IRON FIST For Season 2
Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb announced at Comic-Con today that Iron Fist has been renewed by Netflix for a second season. He also hinted that Colleen Wing would team up with NYPD detective Misty Knight, who made her big debut in the first season of Luke Cage. Those two characters teamed up in the comic book so it makes sense to see them team up in the Netflix series.
What's interesting about that, is I think more fans would be more interested in seeing a Wing and Knight team-up series more than an Iron Fist series. The first season of Iron Fist got trashed by a lot of fans. It definitely wasn't the best Marvel series. It was littered with problems and it should've been a much better show than what it was.
Since they are moving forward with the second season, hopefully they learn from their mistakes and give us something awesome next in Season 2. I personally think they should just include Luke Cage and give fans a story that explores their relationship further as they go on some kind of crazy action-packed adventure. I also hope that they give Iron Fist a better story, better fight scenes, and better fight choreography.
