Marvel Comics Announces a "Create Your Own" Comic Book Service
Have you ever wanted to create your own comic book universe using Marvel characters? Well, Marvel has teamed up with Tap Tap to let you do just that. The trailer shows that there will be plenty of characters to throw in the mix and you can essentially create any story that you want. You could have Iron Man and Gwenpool team up to stop an evil Vision from destroying the world! Of course, as great as this program is, there are caveats. For example, you will be able to create a lot of stories, but Marvel and Tap Tap have the right to stop any particular story if it goes against their Terms & Conditions. This is because your work will be shared with people all over, including children. I think some of the conditions are a little strong and instead of having those restrictions, they could just put an age filter or something in place.
The service is not live yet, but you can check out the official site now and get a sense of what’s in store. This looks like it has huge potential for kids and adults to express their creativity and give us some awesome stories that we wouldn’t otherwise hear about. What’s your first story going to be?
