Marvel Comics Announces WOLVERINE VS. BLADE; Here are the Details and Cover Art
Wolverine and Blade are going to face off with each other in an upcoming one-shot issue from Marvel Comics called Wolverine Vs. Blade. I believe this is the first time that Wolverine and Blade will be seen fighting each other and it’s sure to be an event that excites some fans.
Wolverine vs. Blade Special #1 is written by Marc Guggenheim (X-Men Gold) with art by Dave Wilkins. According to Guggenheim this story has been in the works for a decade. This might explain why Wolverine is wearing his old X-Force costume on the cover art. When talking to Monkeys Fighting Robots, the writer said:
“This is a book that’s been — not kidding — ten years in the making. I couldn’t possibly be more excited for it to finally see publication. I think it’s worth the wait.”
As for the story that the comic will tell, the brief synopsis reds, “Two of the deadliest hunters ever to have stalked the night face off! Wolverine vs. Blade — ’nuff said!”
