Marvel Comics Introduces The Amazing Spider-Hulk in IMMORTAL HULK: GREAT POWER #1
Marvel Comics has announced new comic that looks and sounds like it could be a lot of fun. It’s called Immortal Hulk: Great Power, and as you can see from the cover art, it introduces us to The Amazing Spider-Hulk! In this crazy story, Peter Parker is endowed with the power of Immortal Hulk, and the result looks pretty spectacular.
Here’s the synopsis that was shared for Immortal Hulk: Great Power #1:
The Hulk is about to find a web-slingin' new host as the stars of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and IMMORTAL HULK unite!
When Bruce Banner wakes up in the middle of the night without the Hulk, he thinks he’s finally free. But the Hulk is immortal—and the night’s not over yet.
If you thought he was dangerous in the body of mild-mannered Bruce Banner, wait till you see him now. Peter Parker is a man with the proportional strength and agility of a spider, capable of lifting trains on his bad days... And he’s about to get a big, green power-up—with a temper to match.
Immortal Hulk was written by Tom Taylor with art created by Jorge Molina. You can pick up the comic at your local comic store on January 29, 2020!
I also want to point out that this cover must have been inspired by the 1990 comic Web of Spider-Man #70, which came with the tagline, “Are you ready for Spider-Hulk!?” So, this isn’t necessarily breaking new ground, but it will explore some new and different things with the character.
