Marvel Confirms Venom's Web-Fluid Is... Poop
If you thought you knew everything you needed to know about Venom, you’d be wrong. It was recently confirmed in Marvel Comics’ Venom #22 that Venom’s web fluid comes from his poop. Venom has always had the ability to shoot webs thanks to the symbiote suit which attaches itself to hosts. But, now we have new insight into where that web fluid comes from, and it’s gross, but also kinda awesome.
So now, every time we see Venom shoot out his webs, we know that it’s actually the host’s poop! It’s surprising information! In the comic, Venom is currently hosted by Eddie Brock's son Dylan, and the reveal comes when he’s fighting Flexo, who is another symbiote that has ties to Marvel Comics from over eight decades ago.
Venom says to Dylan, "If you want more web-fluid after this, we need to eat. Something Man-Sized." When Flexo notices the fluid, Venom says to him, "It's Symbiote waste. I store it and then shoot strands of it all over the city .Don't blame me -- it's how I was raised."
It’s just wild that Venom swings from his poop webs and he even shoots people in the face with he poop webbing from time to time so that’s fun for those people!
So there ya go, we just learned something crazy and new about Venom today!
