Marvel Directors Joe and Anthony Russo Say They Are Developing a Stan Lee Documentary

The directors behind Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Joe and Anthony Russo, have revealed an interesting new project that they are working on. This project is a documentary that will focus on the late Stan Lee.

They didn’t go into much detail about it because they aren’t really ready to talk about it yet, but they did reveal the project to India Times. Anthony Russo explained:

"We love Stan Lee and I think it's incredibly special that Endgame will be his final cameo. We are fascinated by the life of Stan Lee and we are actually developing a little something that has to do with his work in the history of Marvel. But we are not ready to present it or talk about it yet. It's more of a documentary."

It’s unclear if this will be a documentary film or a documentary series. There’s so much to cover in the life the Stan Lee led that I think a series would be the best way to handle it because you could dive into the details of his life, his characters, and the contributions that he has made, and his impact on the world, which I know the fans would be interested in seeing. I certainly would!

Also, I love the fact that it’s the Russo Bros. who are the ones that are developing this project. They are awesome filmmakers and they fact that they are leading the charge on this tells me that the fans are going to get something special.
