Marvel Drops Kickass First Trailer for BLACK WIDOW!
Marvel Studios has finally unleashed the first trailer for the long-awaited Black Widow, and it’s loaded with some sweet action-packed footage! Scarlett Johansson is back in the role of Natasha Romanoff, the KGB assassin turned heroic Avenger, and she goes home to take care of some unfinished business and kick some ass along the way!
The trailer offers fans their first look at David Harbour's Red Guardian, Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova, and Rachel Weisz‘s Melina in action. We also get to see the film’s villain Taskmaster on the hunt! They all look great in the movie! There’s a lot of fantastic footage here, and the movie looks like it’s going to be a hell of a fun ride and an exciting action movie!
Black Widow is set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War and sees the character travel back to Budapest while she is on the run from the U.S. Government, which is hunting her down because of her actions in Civil War. While in Budapest she reunites with her “family” that consists of Red Guardian, Yelena Belova, and Melina, and they will “go back to where it all started” for a mission, which I assume is the place where the Black Widow program is at.
Black Widow was directed by Cate Shortland from a script by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson. It hits theaters on May 1, 2020 and I can’t wait to see it!
