Marvel Drops First Trailer For SECRET INVASION!
Marvel has released the first trailer for its upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, which sees Samuel L. Jackson back as Nick Fury and he’s embarking on a mission to save the world from the infiltration of the Skrulls.
This looks like it’s actually going to be a solid Marvel show that will take audiences on a wild, intense, and adventurous ride! I’m excited to see how this story plays out. It seems to lay into that style of espionage Marvel storytelling that I really like.
Secret Invasion “centers on Fury and Talos — who first met during the events of ‘Captain Marvel’ — and a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”
Ben Mendelsohn is back as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, and Don Cheadle as War Machine. Also appearing in the series is Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders), Killian Scott (Love/Hate), Carmen Ejogo (Fantastic Beasts), Christopher McDonald (Ballers), and Olivia Colman (The Crown).
Based on Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin’s comic book series, Secret Invasion is executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot), with Let Him Go director Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim (The Looming Tower) set as directors.
Secret Invasion will premiere on Disney+ in 2023.
