Marvel Fan Gives Presentation about The Power Struggle of Wakanda in School and The Professor Buys It
We all know that Wakanda isn't a real place, but that didn't stop a Marvel fan from putting together a presentation for school on it that focused on the nation's power struggles. The funny thing is, the whole thing was an elaborate gag to fool the professor and the professor bought it!
A video of the report was shared on Reddit, and the person who posted it explained the whole presentation an elaborate gag that began when he jokingly mentioned Wakanda in a previous class. The professor ended up questioning that reference, which led to the presentation. The entire class, except for the professor, were in on the joke. He explained:
"Basically she was super curious and believed it the entire time up until the part where the guy in the back told her it was a tragedy that she hadn't heard of it. At that point, she didn't want to believe it but I kept going on and she didn't think I would've put so much effort into a fake country. She was skeptical at parts, but really just kept believing it.
She's also the type of person who only watches tennis on TV so she had no clue what Black Panther was until we told her about the movie shortly afterwards.
The professor thought the whole thing was funny when they told her the whole thing was a joke. You can watch the presentation below:
