Marvel Fan Shares is Theory on "The BIG Easter Egg" in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and it Points To Galactus

For years James Gunn has teased an Easter egg in Guardians of the Galaxy that no one has been able to spot... until now? One Marvel fan confidently posted a video on YouTube claiming to have found the big Easter egg and even pointed out a few others in the process. His theory points to Galactus as the Easter egg that Gunn has been talking about.

YouTuber Second Son breaks down the scene where the Collector goes through all the Infinity Stones. When he gets to the Power Stone, as you'll see in the video below, there's a face shown that is wincing in anguish. That face comes straight from the comic that gives us the origins Galactus and is of the Sentience of the Universe. The theory also claims that one of the planets seen in the film might be Taa, which is home of Galan, who would eventually evolve into Galactus following the Big Bang and merging with the Sentience of the Universe. There are a couple of other things he points out to prove his theory and you can see them in the video below.

Did James Gunn really give us an origin of Galactus in the MCU? That would be pretty rad, especially if this Disney and Fox deal finally goes through. I'm surprised it's taken so long for someone to notice this. They way it's all presented here is pretty clear, but... is it the Easter egg that James Gunn has been teasing? We'll just have to wait and see what he says when it finally reaches him.

Watch the video and let us know what you think of this Easter egg find!

Guardians of the Galaxy (retroactively referred to as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1) is a 2014 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the tenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
