Marvel Fan Took All of the Phase 1 MCU Films and Turned Them Into a TV Series

If you’re a fan of Marvel’s movies and you’re looking for a way to experience those films in a very different way, a hardcore fan named Samuel Masters has re-edited the first phase of the MCU into a TV series format.

He’s taken Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Captain America: The First Avengers, Thor, and The Avengers and cut them up into 12 40 minute episodes. This is definitely an interesting and new way to watch the story unfold.

All six films clock in at around 754 minutes, but this re-edited series transformation has a total runtime of 480 minutes, so he’s cut out a good amount of footage. But, the core story is there and it makes things flow a little more smoothly.

Here’s what Masters had to say about the project:

“This project started as a joke between two friends, looking for a new way to binge the MCU in the most efficient way possible, before snowballing into a genuine study of storytelling and superhero movie structure. We've completed a full first season leading up to the first Avengers movie, and intend to share a new episode each week. We sincerely hope you enjoy what we've been working on for the past few months and use it as a new way to think about and approach the behemoth that is the MCU.”
