Marvel Has Talked to Keanu Reeves About Joining the MCU Several Times

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was recently asked a few questions regarding the MCU, and one of those revolved around the star that everyone is currently swooning over, Keanu Reeves. The actor is incredibly popular and is in the limelight right now with his roles in John Wick: Chapter 3, Toy Story 4, Always Be My Maybe, Bill & Ted Face the Music, and the game Cyberpunk 2077.

However, many fans are wondering when Reeves will join all the other stars that have been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s been reported that he is in negations for The Eternals. But apparently Marvel has been trying to join the MCU for a long time! Feige was asked if Marvel was talking to Reeves about any roles for films to which Feige responded:

We talk to him for almost every film we make. We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.

This is not the first time a big actor has been talked to multiple times before finding the perfect role though, as Feige explained they talked to Jake Gyllenhaal several times before getting him for Mysterio.

One day we may end up seeing Reeves in the MCU, it might be The Eternals, but the big question is, who should he play?
