Marvel Hires DOCTOR STRANGE 2 Writer Michael Waldron to Pen AVENGERS: SECRET WARS
Marvel Studios has hired screenwriter Michael Waldron to write the script for the studio’s big, epic Phase 6 finale, Avengers: Secret Wars. Waldron previously worked on the Marvel projects Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I enjoyed both of those projects, so I’m looking forward to seeing what he ends up bringing to the table for Avengers: Secret Wars.
This news comes shortly after it was announced that Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania writer Jeff Loveness would write the script for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty for director Destin Daniel Cretton.
There are absolutely no story or plot details to share for Avengers: Secret Wars at this point. All we can really do now is speculate on how Marvel will build that story up for the MCU over the next two phases. There’s a lot of stuff we have to go through before we get to Secret Wars!
Avengers: Secret Wars won’t be released until November 7th, 2025.
