Marvel Hires TOMB RAIDER Reboot Writer To Work on CAPTAIN MARVEL Script

It looks like Captain Marvel has its new screenwriter, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Geneva Robertson-Dworet will write the script for the movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that stars Brie Larson.

Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman were originally brought on to write the script, but LeFauve, who wrote Pixar's Inside Out, is now writing and directing Disney's animated film Gigantic.

Robertson-Dworet wrote the script for MGM's upcoming Tomb Raider reboot starring Alicia Vikander, and DC's Gotham City Sirens, starring Margot Robbie. The writer is also working on Dungeons & Dragons, M.A.S.K., ROM, Sherlock Holmes 3, and Visionaries.

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind) are directing the film and Disney will release Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.
