Marvel Hopes BLACK WIDOW Will Be Bigger Than WONDER WOMAN

People are getting more and more excited about Black Widow even though we don’t know much about it. This has led to Marvel having high hopes for the film. According to CBM, Marvel is hoping that their female-led spy superhero will be bigger than DC’s Amazonian princess. The report reads that Scarlett Johansson will get $25 million for the film with a bonus if the film breaks $900 million worldwide which would beat Wonder Woman’s $821 million. There are a lot of things that could determine if it can hit the mark, such as a good story, and great casting.

We know that Jac Schaeffer has been hired as a screenwriter. She doesn’t have much to her name, but I’m excited to have a lesser known person involved with the film. I sometimes feel like we don’t have enough of the lesser known people involved in films. As for what the story will involve, we don’t know anything except for a rumor that it will be more about a female superhero team akin to Lady Liberators. The movie technically has not been given the green-light, but I hope that we get to see Black Widow finally get her own film.
