Marvel is Bringing a Fully Immersive Superhero Experience To Disney's California Adventure!
Looks like Disney's California Adventure is going to get more Marvel superhero upgrades! Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, revealed that they will be expanding on what they started with Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! The new additions will include Spider-Man and The Avengers and it is said to be a completely immersive Superhero universe at the park. How cool is that!?
These new stories will build on the success of the new and already popular Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! and create a place where you can team up with your favorite Super Heroes like never before. Further details are still to be announced about the expansion.
They are also looking to add an immersive superhero resort experience: The press released says:
Adding to the immersive resort hotel slate, Disney's Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel at Disneyland Paris will transport guests to the action-packed world of Super Heroes, including Iron Man, The Avengers, Spider-Man and more. Guests will be able to explore the Marvel Universe through its comic art, films, Super Hero costumes and more, displayed in the style of a contemporary art gallery.
Between Star Wars and Marvel, Disney is going to make sure to give fans the ultimate real world experience and it sounds like a ton of fun! These things are definitely going to bring the kid in me out in full force.
