Marvel is "Cooking Up" a Couple New TV Series For ABC

TV MarvelABC by Joey Paur

It looks like Agents of SHIELD may not be the only Marvel series on ABC in the near future. After Agent Carter and Inhumans were canceled, there's now some room on the network for another Marvel series and it looks like we can expect a couple of them!

ABC president Channing Dungey recently talked to THR and he revealed, "We're cooking up a couple things for broadcast. There's one that I want to talk about and [Marvel TV head] Jeph Loeb won't let me."

Well hell, Dungey is the president of ABC, he shouldn't let a TV producer like Jeph Loeb tell him what he can and can't say! Regardless, it's good to know that there are a couple of other series in development and that not everything Marvel is currently developing will end up on its upcoming streaming service. He went on to talk about the future of Agents of SHIELD, saying:

"It's my hope that by moving it to summer, where our live-same-day ratings are less important and it might be able to continue for longer."

They obviously feel that they have lots of other stories to tell, which is great! I actually really enjoyed last season and can see a lot of interesting stuff happening in the future.

What are some ideas for Marvel series that you'd like to see on ABC in the future?
