Marvel is Developing a MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR Animated Series

I’ll admit, up until today, I had never heard of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Now that I have though, it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. For those who haven’t heard of it either, here’s a synopsis:

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur follows the adventures of nine-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette, an African-American girl who teams up with her crimson-colored dinosaur and uses her smarts to save the day.

That sounds like there’s a lot of potential for fun and I kind of want to go find some issues to read. If you’re a fan of the series, then you may be excited to hear that Marvel wants an animated series based on the comics to come to Disney Channels Worldwide.

The show will be produced by black-ish and grown-ish executive producers Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland but has no current release date. Also, Disney has not announced which of its channels the show will air on if the project is greenlit.
