Marvel is Reportedly Developing Another Big Series For Disney+

It’s been officially announced that Marvel is currently developing four shows for Disney+, which include The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, and Hawkeye. These will all be part of Marvel Phase 4 story arc plans.

As you might imagine, these won’t be the only shows that Marvel is producing for Disney+, they also have a fifth phase that has been planned out and that will include more series. One of these shows will reportedly be revealed soon.

MCU Cosmic reports that Marvel has “something big in active development for Disney+ that will be revealed soon. I don’t know how “soon” (such as if it’ll be at D23 Expo or not), but it’s coming.” The site doesn’t say what the series will be, but they do offer a few possibilities.

The possible shows mentioned in the report include Ms. Marvel and maybe a Hulk series. When talking about Ms. Marvel, the site explains:

“We know Marvel Studios (not ABC or Marvel Television) is planning to use Ms. Marvel, as Kevin Feige explained in an interview he did in the Middle-East prior to the release of Captain Marvel: “Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world.”And as the previous Disney+ reveals have proven, a character appearing in a Disney+ show in no way prevents them from being in a movie in the future, in fact it probably helps to build up a character that way and will help a movie do even better.”

When making a case for the Hulk series, the site says:

“Last year when I learned about The Eternals and the plans for a solo Hawkeye project, I was also told there were plans for the Hulk beyond Avengers 4, but those were much further out than either Eternals or Hawkeye. It’s possible those Hulk plans involve a Disney+ event series due to the issues surrounding a solo Hulk movie.”

Or there’s always the chance that it could be something completely different. There’s also potential for shows like Moon Knight, Nova, the Power Pack, or event something involving some mutant characters! As of right now all we can do is speculate, but something is brewing over at Marvel for a new series, and I’m excited to see what it’ll be!
