Marvel Replaced Miley Cyrus with Tara Strong as Mainframe in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
In a recent press release by Disney, Marvel Studios revealed that Loki and Batman: The Animated Series star Tara Strong is taking on the role of Mainframe in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Strong played Miss Minutes in Loki. She replaces Miley Cyrus, who voiced the character in the 2017 sequel.
There’s no word on why Strong replaced Cyrus in the Marvel movie, but seriously, you don’t even notice. I mean, Cyrus only had a single line in the sequel and she went uncredited, so does it even really matter? Not really, but I thought I’d pass the news along.
Mainframe is part of the Ravagers crew which also included Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord, Michael Rosenbaum’s Martinex, and Michelle Yeoh’s Aleta Ogord. Mainframe is an artificial intelligence and a leader of Mainframe Ravager Clan.
In this next chapter of the story, our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
The movie is in theaters now! You should go and watch it!
