Well, is looks like Marvel does still have plans for Daredevil in the future! They released a statement today that seems to tease that they are not finished with Daredevil. In fact, they say that they “look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future.” You can read the full statement below:
Marvel is extremely grateful to the huge audience that loved Marvel’s Daredevil. From the moment of young Matt’s first act of heroism to the birth of Page, Murdock, & Nelson, it has been a unbelievable journey. We are incredibly proud of the amazing showrunners and writers starting with Drew Goddard and Steven DeKnight, Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie and Erik Oleson, Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio and our casts who brought our characters to life with such excellence, and every one of the fantastic crews in NYC. We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future.
Then there’s this this tweet that was sent out that says “Justice Never Stops”:

Well, this is great news! Yes, the series was cancelled by Netflix, but as many fans suspected, the series will live on, most likely on Disney+.
Of course, this could also mean that Daredevil could just be showing up in the upcoming season of The Punisher or Jessica Jones. I’m pretty sure that there’s a little more to it than that, though. I think the characters of these cancelled shows are going to show up in new shows for Disney+.
They may have to rework some things, but we’ll see. If these shows do end up on Disney+, I do hope that they don’t tone down the hardcore grittiness of them.
