Marvel Star Simu Liu Teases We Might See Shang-Chi Again "Sooner Than You Think"

I’ve been wondering when we might see Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi again in the MCU. We could really use some more cool martial arts fighting again! I actually really enjoyed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. I’ve been looking forward to seeing that story continue, and I’m excited to see how Shang-Chi’s MCU story arc is going to play out.

As for when we will see Shang-Chi again… your guess is as good as mine. But, according to Lui, the character may return sooner than we think. Last week at the Academy of Motion Arts and Sciences Sci-Tech Awards, Liu teased in an interview with People that there may be another superhero team-up featuring his character saying:

“I’m such a big fan of both the characters and the performers that play them, so any collaboration is an opportunity for me to work alongside someone who, in their own way, is breaking barriers and at the very top of their game. I think that’s what excites me the most as a performer, [and] also as a fan. And who knows, they might see something sooner than you think. We’ll see.”

He’s obviously not going to spill any details because Marvel Studios frowns on that, but that’s a fun little tease that we might just see Shang-Chi again at some point in Phase 5. If that’s the case, what movie do you think he will show up in?
