Marvel Studios Is Reportedly Developing a New DAREDEVIL Project
We’ve been hearing rumors over the years that Marvel Studios has been developing a new Daredevil project. Well, it looks like there might actually be some truth to that! Marvel scooper RPK, a.k.a. Daniel Richtman, recently took to Twitter to drop a casting grid that shows a Daredevil project is in the works.
The grid has been making the rounds in Hollywood, and if this is real, this means the project is in early development. You can check out the Tweet below
As of right now, we don’t have any other details to share. We don’t know if this is a series for Disney+ or Hulu, or a film. We also don’t know if Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Daredevil.
There have been rumors that Cox will be reprising his role as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. If that actually turns out to be true, I imagine that means we’ll end up seeing Cox back in the role for this new project, which would be great! Cox is great as Daredevil!
When Cox was asked about reprising his role as Daredevil in a previously interview with Forbes, the actor said, "My answer is, 'No comment.' I don't know what's going to happen, I genuinely don't know. Also, if there was a chance of that happening in the future, I don't want to say something that could potentially jeopardize those chances because the people high up at Marvel, maybe they see this stuff or hear what I say and maybe that influences. I don't know. I have no idea. I love how passionate the fans are and I feel very, very, very touched that so many of them have gone online and made their voices heard about the desire for me to come back."
We’ll find out soon enough what Marvel is planning for Daredevil’s future in the MCU. In the meantime, what would you like to see Marvel do with the character in the MCU moving forward?
