Marvel Studios Moving Forward with ANT-MAN 3 with Director Peyton Reed Returning
It looks like Marvel Studios is ready to rock and roll on Ant-Man 3! THR is reporting that the studio is moving forward with the project and that Peyton Reed will return to direct the third installment.
Paul Rudd will obviously return to reprise his role as Scott Lang and it’s safe to say that Evangeline Lilly will be back as Hope Pym a.k.a. The Wasp. This will be Rudd’s fifth film with Marvel and I’m happy that the story of these characters will continue!
Marvel Studios didn’t officially announce Ant-Man 3 at Comic-Con earlier this year and we don’t have any plot details to share as they are being hidden away in the Quantum Realm. When previously talking about Ant-Man 3, Kevin Feige said, “The chess pieces were arranged very purposefully after Endgame. Those that are off the board are off, and those that are still on, you never know.”
It’ll be interesting to see what the next chapter of Ant-Man and The Wasp’s story will be. Are there any stories you’d like to see told or explored in the film?
No release details have been confirmed but sources say the plan is to shoot at the end of 2020 or top of 2021 for a likely release in 2022.
