Marvel Studios Reportedly Recently Met With John Krasinski

While Hollywood has shut down production on all of their projects at the moment, business is still being conducted and projects are still being planned and developed.

According to Geeks Worldwide, Marvel Studios has been taking virtual meetings with various actors, writers, and directors over the past weeks, and they say that one of the people they’ve met with John Krasinski.

Krasinski is no stranger to Marvel, as he almost landed the role of Captain America before Chris Evans swooped in and snatched it up. But, that doesn’t mean Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige didn’t want to eventually work with him on a future film project.

No specific project is mentioned in the report, what is said is that “they discussed a multitude of projects during their meeting.” That could be as a director, writer, actor, or all three! He’s not in talks for anything particular, these are just early discussions of two talents wanting to work together and that might turn into something.

Fans have made it clear that they would love to see Krasinski star as Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic, in Fantastic 4, so that is certainly a possibility! It’s hard not to think that didn’t come up in the conversation. It would be great to see Krasinski in Fantastic 4 but we’ll just have e to wait and see how these talks progress and play out.
