Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb Hopes The Inhumans Characters Will Show Up in Other Marvel Shows

Marvel's Inhumans series ended up being a big let down for both Marvel and the fans. After being in denial for awhile, ABC finally announced that the show was canceled. But that doesn't mean that one day we might see the characters of Inhumans return in some way.

Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb was recently a part of a Reddit AMA, and one fan asked him if there was a chance that some of the Inhumans characters could return in another Marvel series, and Loeb didn't rule out the possibility.

I guess anything is possible. Personally, I think if we ever see the Inhumans again it needs to be rebooted in movie form by the creative team at Marvel Studios. The TV team had their chance but they just couldn't deliver.

If some of the characters did end up showing up in another series, though, Agents of SHIELD would probably be the best option. It was recently renewed for a sixth season. Maybe they could somehow tie in the mysterious villain that was teased at the end of the Inhumans series finale with Agents of SHIELD.

Inhumans actress Sonya Balmore, who played Auran in the series previously talked about the crossover possibility with CB, saying:

"I don't know anything about that but, I mean, Agents of SHIELD is gonna be right after us, so yeah. We've got Inhumans, they've got NuHumans, I don't see that not being a possibility."

Inhumans showrunner Scott Buck also shared some thoughts with CBR about a potential crossover, saying:

“I think it’s fun in a way. I think it’s fun, and that they, without even realizing it, sort of teased out our show a little bit, in a way. It was certainly not their intention, but it proved very fortuitous that way, that people who watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are already sort of familiar with Terrigenesis. And now we get to bring you the world where it all comes from, so that’s definitely fun. Sure, some time in the future, there may be some sort of [crossover] — as it is right now, we stand completely alone and separate from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but who knows what the future might bring?”

What do you think? Would you like to see the Inhumans show up in Agents of SHIELD one day or do you think they should just let those characters fade away with the snap of Thanos' fingers?
