Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb is Leaving The Company in the Wake of Kevin Feige Becoming Chief Creative Officer

As you know, Marvel has made some big changes recently as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was also made Chief Creative Officer over all of Marvel, including the TV shows. Well, after a long run as Marvel TV head, Jeph Loeb will be leaving.

According to Deadline, he will exit his long-time home at Marvel by the end of the year and will no longer be working on any of the shows that currently exist or will exist. Sources tell the outlet:

“Jeph has been thinking about making a change for a while and now seemed the right time to take that step.”

I imagine Loeb started to really think about his next move after Netflix canceled all of his Marvel shows. I’d say that was some of his best work. He has had some hits and some misses while at Marvel. One of the biggest misses was Inhumans. But, then there are Agents of SHIELD, Cloak & Dagger, and The Runaways, which found success. Loeb also oversaw the animation side of Marvel, which has been super disappointing in recent years.

Under Fiege’s leadership, though, Marvel television is sure to thrive and grow into something epic. I’m excited about the future of Marvel! As for Loeb, he’s a talented individual that will end up landing somewhere where he’ll find success.
