MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL Star Rachel Brosnahan Joins Amblin's Sci-Fi Comedy DISTANT
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and House of Cards star Rachel Brosnahan has joined the cast of Amblin’s upcoming sci-fi comedy Distant.
Distant tells the story of an asteroid miner who, “after crash-landing on an alien planet, must contend with the challenges of his new surroundings, while making his way across the harsh terrain to the only other survivor – a woman who is trapped in her escape pod.”
Brosnahan will obviously play the woman trapped in her escape pod. The film is being produced by In The Heights‘ Anthony Ramos, and it will be directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory, Office Christmas Party) from a script written by Spenser Cohen.
I’m a huge fan Brosnahan’s work on Mrs. Maisel, and this should be a very different yet fun project for her to be a part of.
