Marvel's 2020 Releases May Include DOCTOR STRANGE 2 and Not THE ETERNALS
While fans are still impatiently waiting to see Avengers: Endgame at the end of this month, Marvel is keeping quiet about its future plans. It will be releasing two new films in 2020, and the leading theory is that those films will be Black Widow and The Eternals.
Both of those films have been working on casting and Black Widow is supposedly going to begin production in June of this year. However, a new report from Deadline says that the rumors are that the two 2020 films will be Black Widow and Doctor Strange 2.
The second Doctor Strange film is reportedly going to begin shooting later this year per Benedict Wong, but no official news has hit about that, and I guess that could be enough time for a 2020 release. It should be noted, though, that other outlets have previously reported that the film wouldn’t begin shooting until 2020 in preparation for a 2021 release date.
We won’t know until after Endgame drops, but what do you think? Would you rather watch Doctor Strange 2 or The Eternals?
