Marvel's AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS Starts Shooting Next Month!
WandaVision still stands as one of the best shows that Marvel has released so far. It was just so well done and it was so fun and innovative. Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness ended up being a fan-favorite character and Marvel announced that she would be getting her very own spinoff series titled Agatha: Coven of Choas, and fans seem pretty pumped up about it.
Hahn will reprise her role as the titular witch and it will be released in Phase Five of Marvel’s plan. Well, the show is going to start shooting soon! Hahn provided an update on the filming schedule for Coven of Chaos at the Chicago Film Festival where she said:
“We’re in the middle of getting the coven ready and it’s gonna be very delicious. We start shooting in about a month.”
So this is some exciting news! Jac Schaeffer, the creative force behind WandaVision, will serve as the head writer and executive producer of the show. The series will also bring back Emma Caulfield Ford, who reprises her role as Dottie. She was a suburban housewife who was one of the community’s social leaders.
Coven of Chaos is said to be a “dark comedy” in the MCU, but we don’t have any story details to share at the moment. When we last saw Agatha, after she attempted to take Wanda Maximoff’s magic for herself, Wanda trapped her in the “Agnes” persona.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to arrive on Disney+ in late 2023.
