Marvel's AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS Update Reveals Returning Cast Members and Directors
Marvel Studios is preparing to unleash chaos with its WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. In a recent update for the series, we’ve learned about some returning cast members joining the series and the directors who will be bringing the show to life.
Head writer, executive producer, and showrunner Jac Schaeffer has officially stepped up to direct multiple episodes of the show. The other directors that have jumped on board include Gandja Monteiro (Wednesday), as well as Rachel Goldberg (A Friend of the Family, Resident Evil). Production on the series begins Tuesday in Atlanta.
Kathryn Hahn stars in the show, and there are more returning cast members from WandaVision that include David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, and Kate Forbes. They join Deborah Jo Rupp and Emma Caufield who are also returning cast members.
The show also stars newcomers Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Maria Dizzia.
Coven of Chaos is said to be a “dark comedy” in the MCU. When we last saw Agatha, after she attempted to take Wanda Maximoff’s magic for herself, Wanda trapped her in the “Agnes” persona.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to arrive on Disney+ in late 2023. This is one of two WandaVision spinoffs in development. It was also recently announced that Vision was getting his one series titled Vision Quest.
