Marvel's ANT-MAN Officially Starts Shooting

Movie MarvelAnt-Man by Joey Paur

It's been a very long journey to get Marvel's Ant-Man into production, but it has finally happened. After almost nine years of development and a little bit of drama, Ant-Man has started shooting! The movie is being directed by Peyton Reed, who replaced Edgar Wright after he walked off the project. Reed is the one who made the announcement on Twitter this morning, saying,

"Alright, gang. Today is the day. LET'S. GET. small."

Hopefully Marvel and the team of people developing this movie will give the fans something that they will love and embrace. Here's the synopsis of the movie:

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

The film also stars Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, and David Dastmalchian. Ant-Man is scheduled for release on July 17th, 2015.
