Marvel’s Kevin Feige is Developing a STAR WARS Movie For Lucasfilm!

Whoa!!! So, I didn’t see this coming! Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is set to develop a Star Wars movie for Lucasfilm!

It’s no secret that Feige is a huge Star Wars fan, so after pitching an idea to Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy, Disney CEO Bob Iger, and studio co-chairmen Alan Horn and Alan Bergman, it looks like he’s going to continue to have more of his dreams come true. I guess that’s what happens when you’re super talented.

Horn explained that after The Rise of Skywalker is released, Kennedy "is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together.”

Lucasfilm is planning a new wave of Star Wars projects and Feige will probably end up playing a big part in that. I could totally see this as a smart move to get Feige into Lucasfilm to help out with not just one, but all of their projects.

According to the report, “One knowledgeable source says Feige has told a major actor that there’s a specific role he would like that person to play if and when he makes the movie.”

As you might expect Lucasfilm isn’t revealing any details on these future Star Wars projects, but I can’t wait to see what comes of it, especially with Feige bringing his magic touch to the franchise.

Horn went on to say, "We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox."

What do you all think about Feige jumping into Lucasfilm to work on Star Wars!?
