Marvel's LOKI Set to Premiere on Disney+ in June
Disney+ has announced that Marvel’s Loki series will premiere on June 11th this year! The series will be the third show to be released by Marvel following WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Tom Hiddleston is set to reprise his role in the series as Loki finds himself embarking on a crazy-ass time-traveling adventure after taking the tesseract and escaping in Avengers: Endgame. On his journey, Loki finds himself with the Time Variance Authority organization, and he will be traveling through different periods of time while affecting some important moments of history. He essentially becomes trapped in his own crime thriller.
Joining Hiddleston in the series are Sophia Di Martino (Yesterday, Flowers, Into the Badlands), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Black Mirror: San Junipero), Cailey Fleming (The Walking Dead), and Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) Di Martino is rumored to be playing Lady Loki.
Rick and Morty veteran Michael Waldron is writing the series, which also recently recruited Kate Herron as a director. The series will hit Disney+ in May 2021.
