Marvel's SHE-HULK Adds Ginger Gonzaga to the Cast
Marvel Studios has cast Ginger Gonzaga (Kidding) to star alongside Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) in the upcoming Disney+ She-Hulk.
Maslany takes on the lead role of Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner who inherits his Hulk powers after she receives a blood transfusion from him. Unlike Banner, however, when she hulks out, Jennifer is able to retain most of her personality, intelligence, and emotional control.
Gonzaga will play Walters’ best friend in the series, and she also joins Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo, who will be back as Banner, and Tim Roth will also be reprising his role as Abomination, who he previously played in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.
Kat Coiro (Dead To Me, Shameless, Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is set to helm the pilot along with several other episodes. She will also serve as an executive producer. Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao leads the writer’s room for the series.
