Marvel's THE INFINITY SAGA 23-Film Box Set is Currently Available For Pre-Order
We knew that Marvel Studios was going to release The Infinity Saga at some point. Well, the 23-film box set it currently available for pre-order at Best Buy for $549.99! It will officially be released on November 15th.
As you might expect, the set comes along with all kinds of special features and a few collectibles. Since I already own all of these Marvel films, I don’t see myself dropping over $500 on them again and I’m not going to pay that kind of money just for bonus disc, because all that stuff will end up online at some point anyway.
That bonus disc will include a bunch of never-before-seen deleted scenes and extended scenes from the various films. Kevin Feige has said they’ve “been too humiliated to show” some of these things. He previously said:
“If we do a big, giant Infinity Saga box set, we might include – I’m assuming if you’re going to spend the money to buy a box set with everything in it, you’re a fan. And it’ll take more than a couple of really, really bad scenes to turn you…I like sharing those scenes. And when we have something like that that we love, and which was not an easy decision to cut out but was the best decision for the movie, it’s a great avenue to say, ‘We’ll put it out there.’ It’s not like no-one will ever see it. There are things that we think nobody should ever see. And I think we’ve just recently been discussing that now we can start to show some of our less proud moments.”
