Marvel's RUNAWAYS Series Will Officially Be Crossing Over with CLOAK & DAGGER
Marvel’s Runaways and Cloak & Dagger are both great shows. I’ve enjoyed them and there are a lot of fans that have been wanting to see the characters from these shows crossover with each other. Well, it’s gonna happen!
Marvel and Hulu has officially revealed that these shows will be crossing over later this year and we have a video featuring the casts of both shows making the announcement. The cast of Runaways talked a little bit about their upcoming third season and then the camera pulls out to reveal Cloak & Dagger stars Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph. At that point they all expressed their excitement for the crossover.
The two main characters from Cloak & Dagger will appear in a single episode of Runaways, which premieres on Hulu in December. When talking about the crossover, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb said:
“It’s so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner. Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we’ve only hinted at.”
It’ll be fun to see what kind of story ends up bringing all these characters together. Runaways Season 3 will premiere December 13th, with all 10 episodes being released at once. Cloak & Dagger still has yet to be renewed for Season 2, but I’m pretty confident that it will happen.
