Marvel's WEREWOLF BY NIGHT Will Be Getting a Color Release on Disney+
Marvel’s awesome special presentation Halloween horror movie Werewolf by Night is getting a color release on Disney+ and it’s coming on October 20th! The film was perfect in black and white, but it will be fun to get to see the movie in color.
The announcement came with some images and the following description:
“Now presented in vibrant color, Marvel Studios’ Werewolf by Night in Color takes place on a dark and somber night as a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic—a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster. Inspired by horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, the chilling special aims to evoke a sense of dread and the macabre, with plenty of suspense and scares along the way as we explore a new corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
It was also announced that the original, black-and-white version of Werewolf by Night will be released on Hulu for the first time on September 15, 2023. It will be available to watch on Hulu until October 31, 2023. You can see a poster for that below.
The project is a throwback to the black and white horror films of the ’30s and ’40s. The story centers on a group of unusual suspects gathered together on a creepy night, and one of them is the Werewolf by Night. They find themselves in a position where they are forced to stay alive as the end of the night approaches.
