MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Clips Throw He-Man, Teela, and Man-At-Arms into the Fight Against Skeletor
We’re less than two weeks away from Masters of the Universe crashing into theaters, and a batch of newly released clips gives fans a much better look at the action, the characters, and the scale of the live-action fantasy adventure.
The footage leans hard into the classic Eternia chaos fans have been waiting to see. One clip puts Idris Elba’s Duncan, aka Man-At-Arms, in full protector mode as he battles Skeletor’s soldiers while trying to escort King Randor and Queen Marlena to safety.
Another clip offers a fun character moment between He-Man and Camila Mendes’ Teela. After a ship crashes, He-Man casually lifts the wreckage so Teela can grab something trapped underneath.
In Masters of the Universe, “Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto).
“To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe."
The cast for Masters of the Universe is packed with genre talent. Alongside Nicholas Galitzine, Mendes, Elba, and Jared Leto as Skeletor, the movie also stars Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, James Purefoy and Charlotte Riley as King Randor and Queen Marlena, and Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn.
There’s also Sam C. Wilson playing Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, and Kristin Wiig lending her voice to Roboto.
Director Travis Knight definitely seems to be aiming for a big fantasy spectacle that mixes the weirdness and power-metal energy of the original franchise with modern blockbuster action. These clips finally make it feel like fans are about to see Eternia fully unleashed on the big screen.
Masters of the Universe hits theaters on June 5, 2026.
