MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Movie Action Figures Revealed with First Look at He-Man, Skeletor, and More

Mattel has revealed it’s line of action figures for the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie. The first official images and details for the figures were released by Entertainment Weekly, which landed the exclusive reveal, and the collection offers a surprisingly clear preview of how this cinematic version of Eternia is shaping up.

The figures fall under the banner “Masters of the Universe: Chronicles,” and while the exact scale wasn’t specified, they appear to hover around the 6-inch range.

Each figure reportedly features roughly 30 points of articulation, so they’re built for posing, staging battles, and probably recreating a few dramatic slow-motion hero shots.

This first wave gives collectors a strong mix of heroes and villains. On the heroic side, we’ve got He-Man, Battle Cat, Man-At-Arms, and Teela. Representing the darker corners of Eternia are Skeletor, Tri-Klops, Evil-Lyn, and Trap Jaw.

The figures are sculpted in the likeness of the actors stepping into these legendary roles. Nicholas Galitzine leads the charge as He-Man, with Camila Mendes as Teela and Idris Elba bringing gravitas to Man-At-Arms.

On the villain front, Jared Leto takes on Skeletor, Alison Brie plays Evil-Lyn, while Kojo Attah and Sam C. Wilson portray Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw.

The film itself is being developed by Amazon MGM Studios alongside Mattel Studios, and if these designs are any indication, the creative team is leaning into a grounded but still mythic look rather than drifting too far into cartoon territory. I do have to pint out that the faces on some of them are pretty expressionless.

Pricing lands in a range that feels approachable for collectors and casual fans alike. The base figures are set at $24.99, while Battle Cat comes in at $39.99, which makes sense given the larger size and expected detailing.

The initial wave hits shelves on April 25, with more assortments scheduled to roll out throughout the year.
