Matt Smith and Natalie Dormer Try To Find a Cure For a Zombie-Like Virus in the Trailer For PATIENT ZERO
Here's the trailer for a new horror thriller called Patient Zero that tries to do something a little new and different with the zombie genre. The story follows a man played by Matt Smith who has the unique ability to speak "the Infected's new language" and leads the last survivors on a hunt to find Patient Zero and a cure. Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) is helping him on his journey. The big twist is, the infected don't feel they are diseased, they feel that they are the solution and the cure to get rid of the human infection.
This actually looks like a solid movie worth checking out. It was directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky (All the Queen's Men, The Counterfeiters, Lilly the Witch: The Dragon and the Magic Book, Deadfall) and this is the synopsis:
In this new pandemic thriller, humanity is battling intelligent, adrenaline-fueled creatures born from a viral super-strain. After being bitten, human survivor Morgan (Matt Smith) realizes he is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leading the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.
The movie also stars Stanley Tucci, Clive Standen, Agyness Deyn, John Bradley, Colin McFarlane, Pippa Bennett-Warner, and James Northcote. It will be released in select theaters on September 14th, and on VOD August 14th. Check out the trailer and let us know if you think it's worth checking out!
