Matthew McConaughey to Voice Children's Podcast HANK THE COWDOG Based on Popular Books

Matthew McConaughey is taking on a new kind of project for the actor, signing on to voice the upcoming podcast Hank the Cowdog, based on the popular children’s book series by John R. Erickson. The podcast is being written, directed, and executive-produced by Jeff Nichols (Mud, Loving) and stars McConaughey as the title character, Hank.

McConaughey is joined by a cast of incredible actors including Jesse Plemons, Cynthia Erivo, Kirsten Dunst, Leslie Jordan, Joel Edgerton, Scoot McNairy, and John R. Erickson.

“Hank the Cowdog, the self-declared 'Head of Ranch Security,' finds himself smack dab in the middle of a host of tangled mysteries and capers that span the universe of the Texas Panhandle cattle ranch Hank calls home.
