Max Announces a New THE BIG BANG THEORY Project from Chuck Lorre Is Coming

Fans of The Big Bang Theory need to buckle up because a new project related to the hit sitcom is in the works. Max (formerly HBO Max, I know it’s a dumb change but they’re making a lot of dumb decisions right now) recently announced that Chuck Lorre is developing “a new comedy series derived from The Big Bang Theory” for Warner Bros. Television. Sadly, that’s all the information we have at the moment.

This new project marks the second spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The first was Young Sheldon which is currently in its sixth season on CBS. You can watch all episodes of The Big Bang Theory and the first five seasons of Young Sheldon now on Max in the U.S.. I’m sure we’ll get more details about the new project in the near future once Lorre has finished production on the new Max Original comedy series How to Be a Bookie. What do you hope this new spin-off series will explore?
