McFarlane Toys Partners with DC For a Line of Superhero Action Figures
If you’re a fan and collector of McFarlane Toys, I’ve got some pretty cool news to share with you today! They are partnering up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create a line of DC superhero action figures!
As you know, McFarlane Toys puts a lot of attention, care, and details into their collectible action figures and it’ll be really cool to see what they end up doing with characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and several of the other iconic comic book heroes.
According to the press release they will create “DC Multiverse collector figures in both mass and specialty retail spaces. Beginning early 2020, McFarlane Toys will bring dozens of the iconic DC comic books, video games and feature films’ near-endless stable of characters to life with 6” – 12” ultra-posable action figures, corresponding accessories and vehicles branded DC Multiverse.”
Todd McFarlane, Owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys had this to say in a statement:
“This partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC will be great fun for my company, and a chance to deliver products that millions of fans of the DC brand have been asking for. The DC universe has captivated the world and to be able to play in that ‘sandbox’ now makes me feel like a kid all over again. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.”
Some of the DC action figures will most likely be revealed at Toy Fair 2019 in New York. Stay tuned for some of those reveals!
