McFarlane Toys Reveals Their Captain Kirk and Captain Picard STAR TREK Action Figures

McFarlane Toys has revealed their first two action figures in their upcoming Star Trek collectors series. They include Captain James T. Kirk from Star Trek: The Original Series and Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The 7-inch figures feature multiple points of articulation and “fans can expect familiar screen-accurate accessories – including phasers and communicators.” Todd McFarlane, owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys said:

“Star Trek is hands down one of the most-groundbreaking and innovative franchises in the history of entertainment. We plan on carrying that forward with our upcoming toy lines, giving fans a fresh and detailed look, that their favorite characters deserve.”

As a long time fan of Star Trek, this is definitely an action figure series that I want to collect. The figures are set to be released sometime in the spring of 2018. If you're at San Diego Comic-Con you'll get to see the prototypes on display at the Diamond Comics booth #2401.

The figures are expected to retail for around $20.
